Bachelor / Master of Arts

Bachelor / Master of Arts is an undergraduate program for management studies offered by many universities throughout the world. The course allows you to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to assume management positions in a wide range of organizations.

Management studies programmes provide students with a solid foundation in organizational behavior and human resource management while electives in labor-management relations, negotiation, conflict resolution, compensation systems and organizational development allow students to develop deeper knowledge in specific areas of interest.

Bachelor / Master of Science

As its name suggests, a Bachelor / Master of Science degree focuses on science and technical-based subjects. The Science Faculty's undergraduate curriculum is organised according to key disciplines, namely Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, Mathematics and Physics, and Environmental Sciences. Various degree programmes combine aspects of biology, ecology, geography, chemistry, technology and social science, as well as modern physics, applied mathematics and natural sciences.

Bachelor of Science (Aviation Science)

B.Sc. Aviation or Bachelor of Science in Aviation is an undergraduate Infrastructure Management Course. Aviation is the science and operation of flying airplanes, helicopters, gliders, etc. It deals with the design, development, production, operation, and use of aircraft, especially heavier-than-air aircraft. Aviation can be categorized into three classes. The program will provide students a strong background in the Aviation Management field as well as business and leadership practices.

In this course, candidates learn about airport planning, airport security, passenger forecasting, aerodrome works, fire safety, dangerous goods, and many other related topics. The course focuses on the issues such as types of Aviation Management, enterprises in airlines and their relationships.

Bachelor / Master of Design

Bachelor / Master of Pharmacy

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) is required to practice as a pharmacist and will prepare you for a rewarding and portable career. This is followed by the Master of Pharmacy that includes the required internship year for registration as a pharmacist.

You will learn about how medicines work and their impact on the body, and develop the knowledge, experience and expertise you need to make a difference as a medicines expert and healthcare professional. The course is fully integrated across units and themes, using medicines and patients to ensure context for the application and delivery of knowledge, professional skills, attitudes and behaviours.

Bachelor of Arts-Journalism and Mass Communication

B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication course has been designed to offer enrolled students Basic journalistic skills in various mass media, to expose students to recent developments in media issues and media research. B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication course also provides professional familiarity with the various technologies involved in mass media like computer applications, respective software and hardware applied in print, radio, television, internet and such forms of media.

B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication is a 3-year undergraduate course divided into 6 semesters. The minimum eligibility for the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream, from a recognized educational Board.

Master of Philosophy

The Master of Philosophy is an advanced postgraduate degree. An MPhil typically includes a taught portion and a significant research portion, during which a thesis project is conducted under supervision. An MPhil may be awarded to postgraduate students after completing taught coursework and one to two years of original research, which may also serve as a provisional enrollment for a PhD programme.

MPhil or Master of Philosophy is a postgraduate academic research programme that is of two years duration. Candidates from any stream – Humanities, Commerce, Science, Law, Teaching etc. can pursue an MPhil course. In an MPhil course, aspirants need to study theory as well as practical subjects. Apart from this, candidates also need to conduct research and present their research findings. After completing MPhil course candidates can consider pursuing a PhD programme.

FinancialAssistance

The Vidyapith provides financial support to the needy students in the form of merit-cum need scholarships. It also encourages meritorious students by awarding them merit scholarships. In addition, there are also few scholarships provided by philanthropic institutions such as Mahindra & Mahindra Educational Trust, Kanoria Memorial Trust. To facilitate admission of economically needy students to professional courses with higher fee structure, the Vidyapith has recently collaborated with several banks to provide loan scholarships.

Teaching Assistantships : Teaching assistantships are available to M.Tech., M.Phil and Doctoral students to teach in under-graduate programmes.


Research Assistantships : Research assistantships are offered to Post-graduate students under various ongoing research projects of the Vidyapith as and when available.

Note: Students desirous to avail the financial assistance need to apply for the same in the prescribed proforma alongwith submission of proof of father's/ guardian's annual income.

Five FoldEducation

Over the 75 years, the Vidyapith has developed into a national center for women’s education. To achieve the objective of synthesis of spiritual value and scientific achievements of the East and the West, it has evolved a five –fold educational Program- Panchamukhi Siksha comprising the following aspects.

Physical : Under physical education program various activities like parade, martial art, shooting, riding, flying, girl guiding, bulbul, swimming, yoga and various modern and traditional sports like kabbadi, kho-kho, hockey, basketball, handball, badminton, long-jump, high-jump, Judo, Karate etc. are some of the sports facilities given to the students.

Practical : Under practical education sanganary paintings and dyeing, batique, bandhej, tailioring, embroidery, cooking, craft, paper-mache etc. are included. Under domestic education students are encouraged to perform cleaning and washing and collective shramadan.

Aesthetic : After music and painting up to calss 5 a student can choose either music (Vocal or Instrumental) or painting. Dance education namely Kathak, Manipuri, Rajasthani are an integral part of art education. We have a full-fledged orchestra of classical instrumental music.

Intellectual : Other than languages and mathematics, natural and social sciences are taught right from the beginning. Knowledge of world history also occupies a key position in the teaching of history. Educational tour, festivals and fairs, one act plays related to different subjects use of charts models, multimedia presentation and educational games are some of the ways of imparting knowledge to students. Our system of imparting knowledge is not exam oriented but focused on the development of overall personality of a child.

Moral : The aim of moral education is to develop the personality of the student. Respect for all the religions by means of collective prayers and weekly talk by guest speakers based on moral stories are regular features. The unique feature of imparting moral education is through morning and evening prayers held by relay system, which includes Ramayan path, recitation of mantras from Vedas, slokas from Gita, preaching from Quran and Guru Grantha saheb along with Bhajans as we strongly believe in Sarva Dharma Samanaya.
